Today’s post is about the easiest and hardest journeys I’ve taken.
Throughout life there’s been many moments where it’s been easy and hard.
So which journey do I talk about today?
I’d say my writing career has been the easiest and hardest journey.
Deciding to become a writer was the easiest part of the journey. I’d also say writing the book was fairly simple, although I did have moments of writer’s block.
The hardest part of the journey was everything else that came with it. The designing of the cover, publishing the book, and promotion. I didn’t realize how much work went into creating a book.
Doing all this stuff to prepare a book was overwhelming.
Doubts began to creep into my mind.
Do I have what it takes to be a writer?
What if this is a waste of time?
What if nobody likes my stories?
Should I give up?
Those are some of the questions that swam through my head. I didn’t know if I had what it took to survive in the book industry.
Despite the hardships, I kept up with my writing journey. There were easy and tough times, yet that’s part of any journey you go through.
