Randy Brown has came up with some unique topics for #PNIWritingChallenge.
But, I have to say this one takes the cake.
When you go into a bank or store, do you plan a heist while waiting your turn?
Before I begin this post, let me say that I can be impatient at times. When I go to the bank or store, I want to get in and out as fast as possible.
Yet, there are times when there’s a long line and I’m left waiting. Sometimes it feels like an eternity.
As I’m waiting my turn, my imagination starts to wander. I do this to drown out the noise all around me.
Sometimes I daydream about what it’d be like to pull a heist. Walking out with bags full of money or merchandise.
I’d imagine it’d be like the movies. I’d casually walk in minding my own business, then wham I’m holding everyone up.
That’d be the easy part. The hardest part would be escaping.
I believe I wouldn’t make it far before I got caught. Knowing my clumsy butt, I’d do something to screw up and end up on World’s Dumbest Criminals. Odds are I wouldn’t make it out the door.
So I think it’s best if I keep my heist plans in my head instead of carrying them out. I don’t need to get into trouble.
