After attempting suicide Alexandra Parker was dropped off and forgotten about in the local asylum. But the attempts didn’t stop and the cutting only got worse. Alexandra would soon find other ways to make the screaming in her head disappear. After being one of the asylums most violent patients, she finds that one of the orderlies has caught her attention.

Brandon isn’t what he seems, under the surface, he has issues of his own. It is through her infatuation that Alexandra learns that the quickest way to recovery is to submit to Brandon and the demons he hides beneath his tongue. Is she ready for all that his submission entails?

Excerpts:

Excerpt #1

“What makes you think that I would want you anyway? I just met you and you have been nothing but an asshole to me.”

Brandon stopped walking as Alex said this. She stopped next to him and crossed her arms looking a little annoyed. Brandon’s smile faded and he turned to face Alex. She was now pinned between the wall and Brandon. “You wanna know how I am so sure of myself?” He put his arms on the wall on both sides of her shoulders as he stepped forward. Alex swallowed and nodded. Brandon could feel her heart pounding in her chest against his. “Aside from the fact that your heart is pounding against my chest,” He quickly moved his hand from the wall next to her and slid it into her jogging pants, “You’re soaked right now.” He slid his hand out of her pants and took a step back from her. Alex opened her mouth then closed it. She was too stunned to speak. The cocky smile returned to Brandon’s face and he stood there watching Alex regain her composure.

Excerpt #2

“Don’t do that Alex.” Brandon said in a rough and gravelly voice.

“Why?” Alex asked as she self-consciously put her hands across her chest.

“Because I am trying to stay away from you, but you aren’t making it easy on me right now.” Brandon stood up and the breath caught in Alex’s throat as she looked down and saw the massive bulge in his pants. “So either you get in that bath or I’m not going to be able to control myself any longer.” Alex stood where she was for a second longer, silently testing him. When he did not move closer she turned and stepped into the tub. As she sank into the hot water her skin erupted in goose bumps from the heat. She was almost completely into the water when she saw Brandon move next to the tub. “You waited too long to get in.” he said as he pulled the chair up to the foot of the tub. “Now I can’t help what happens next.” He sat down and looked at her.

About the Author

Sabrina Samples was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio. Even at a young age she always loved writing. She would write poetry and short stories. It wasn’t until one of her teachers submitted a poem of hers to a poetry company that she realized she wanted to write more for people to see. From that point of inspiration, she has been constantly writing. Sabrina finds motivation and desire to write in the need to leave something behind for those who come after her time. When Sabrina is not busy working on her writing she enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons, spending time with her husband and daughter.
