This may sound crazy, but I try not to snack while I work.
Part of the reason is because I don’t want to get my work area messy. You know spreading crumbs on the desk, getting the keyboard sticky.
Yet, there are times when I need a boost of energy to get me through the day.
I work mostly in the mornings, so I get tired quickly. As the day wears on, I find myself getting drowsy.
Whenever I need a pick me up, I’ll reach for a bag of gummy bears, which is one of my favorite candies. Or I’ll grab any type of candy we have in the house.
Other snacks I’ll munch on are Little Deb cookies. I’ll eat any type of cookie, although my favorites are Oatmeal Crème, Fudge Rounds, Brownies, and Nutty Bars.
I also love to eat cashews, almonds, and peanuts. Plus, I like to munch on potato chips, popcorn, and pretzels.
All this talk about snacks is making me hungry. I am a bit tired so I think I’ll go raid the kitchen, then get back to work.
