My Writing Room

Greetings Readers!

Today’s post is centered on writing rooms.

Any author will tell you, they’ve dreamed about having their own room where they can escape to.

With me, I’ve came up with two options for my writing room, either one I’d be happy with.

Beach House

My first idea for a writing room is a beach house.

When I’m writing, I like to be at ease. Nothing’s more relaxing than watching the waves come crashing onto the sand.

In my room, I’d have the walls painted in a pastel color. Maybe light blue, yellow, or pink. As for the door frames and other trimmings, those would be white to give the room a calming effect. The shelves would be filled with books and beach themed knickknacks. My desk would be set up facing the window so I’d have a view of the beach. I’d also have a balcony connected to the room, that way I can step outside for a breath of fresh air.

Secret Room

My other option for a writing room would be a top secret room. Something you’d see in mystery movies.

I’m the type of person who needs quiet while I work. Yet, it’s hard because I have people barging in all the time distracting me.

That’s why I think it’d be cool to have a secret hideaway. I’d have a passage where I can sneak into my writing room.

Inside, I’d have my desk set up along with monitors that way I can see if anyone’s coming. Most importantly, my room would be soundproof that way I can work in peace.
